Our client is looking for a finance reconciliations assistant who has previously worked within a similar industry. Reporting to the financial controller the main duties of the role include timely identification and resolution of all reconciliations, downloading/extracting all relevant information with regard to bank and ledger in preparation of the reconciliation process, ensuring reconciliation exceptions are made known to relevant departments and timely corrections are made, ensuring that all reconciliations are signed off and dated by the necessary people, preparing the weekly statistics, training new staff, running the daily debtors report and circulating to all execs, assisting the coding and inputting of company purchase invoices/expenses into sage as well as other ad hoc administrative and finance tasks as requested.
The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in a similar industry, educated to at least GCSE level, good literacy and numeracy skills, excellent analytical and problem solving skills, communication skills, PC literate, ability to work independently and as part of a team, flexibility, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, excellent attention to detail and a professional attitude.
