Reception roles are often called "front of house" - ideally suited to outgoing candidates looking to develop a customer centered career. Previous experience gained from within an office/retail/travel environment can often transfer. Duties typically can include answering telephones or switchboards, booking meeting rooms and couriers and distributing the post. Our client is a prestigious organisation in North Bristol seeking a confident receptionist to work every Saturday who is both well presented and sociable to join a team working on a very busy reception and switchboard. The day is divided between covering the front desk meeting and greeting clients and potential customers and answering the switchboard. Previous reception experience is not essential, although would be advantageous. Full training will be given, but all applicants must genuinely like helping people, be immaculately presented and have a strong customer service background. In return the organisation offer second to none training with excellent prospects and free parking!

Receptionist/Administrator - £17,500 - £18,000

This is a great role that incorporates general administration and reception duties. The role will involve covering reception and switchboard, fielding phone calls, taking messages, arranging couriers, sorting/ distributing post, managing high level travel arrangements, booking flights, taxis, car hire and hotels internationally often at short notice, keep the travel calendar up to date, booking the meeting and conference rooms, ordering the online office supplies twice weekly and distributing the goods, maintaining the stationary stock, liaising with the building services company with regards any problems relating to the office. Previous office experience is essential, coupled with the ability to multi-task accurately. Excellent communication skills are a must have as is a cheerful, bright and enthusiastic approach to work. This role often involves dealing with a fluctuating workload that requires a pro-active individual to ensure they keep up. Working with one other in an open plan office. Onsite parking, BUPA and 25 days holiday per year.
